Language Arts Curriculum

Integrated Language Arts Program- Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking

1. Develop Reading Skills- Wilson Fundations, Leveled library books, Scholastic Guided Reading program, Open Court Reading program (includes reading, vocabulary and language arts skills), phonics flash cards, other assorted literature

2. Writing- Writers Workshop & journal writing

3. Listening & Speaking- Group & partner work, sharing circles, following 2 & 3 step directions

** Build Vocabulary- sharing circles, partner and group work
